Out of Province Inspection
If you’re new to the province, you will need to pass an Out of Province Inspection before being able to register your vehicle in BC.
Privately owned vehicles that are imported into British Columbia are subject to a mandatory one-time mechanical vehicle inspection to insure compliance with mechanical safety standards and Motor Vehicle Act Regulations (MVAR).
